• You can use this page to search for sports related clubs, associations and regional bodies in the Yorkshire and Humberside region of UK.
• The database is still being compiled, and is only complete for the whole region for Canoeing, Hockey, Swimming, Diving, Tennis, Triathlon and Water Polo and for Netball in West Yorkshire. For other sports, only Hambleton, Harrogate, Leeds, Scarborough & Wakefield are complete at present - for other parts of the region, you are advised to contact the appropriate governing body of the sport for more information
• Use the form above to select any or all of the sports listed and choose a Local Authority. Then click on "Search" to initiate a database search.
• If you want a wider search, choose 'All' Local Authorities and choose a County, or search in the whole region
• Be careful not to choose a Local Authority and the wrong County - if you wish to search a single Local Authority, then select 'All' Counties
• Note that very broad search criteria (e.g. asking for a listing of all groups in all counties) will result in an incomplete listing (Otherwise the search would take too long and deliver an excessive number of results.)
• Best results will be obtained by searching for a named activity in a specified local authority area. However for less common activities this may give no results. When searching for clubs dealing with less popular activities it will be better to broaden the area of search.
• Please advise us of any additional clubs in the region to be added to the database or if you are able to provide updated or corrected details for any listed club.
